I have been involved in Primary Education for more than thirty-five years, specialising in Art and Design

I taught many techniques in these key formative years (4 - 11 age range), in particular textiles and ceramics, culminating in the Arts Council Artsmark award for schools.

Since leaving full time teaching to become a free lance artist, I have specialised in creative projects for 'In and Out of Hours Family Arts Project' initiatives, embracing pupils, parents, governors and the general community.

My recent work includes a large mosaic - absorbing the essence of 'ownership' - that involved the whole school and the local community in its creation, demonstrating 'Excellence and Enjoyment in Schools' through creativity.

I have also worked on a silk screen depicting the architecture of the beautiful limestone town of Stamford to commemorate the 40th anniversary of it becoming England's first conservation town.
